that is a heater hose, look at 17 or 19 here 4th Gen LT1 F-Body Tech Aids-Drawings & Exploded Views

First Start! Rough at first but smooth after I let it idle for 15 mins. Ran into a problem @ 0:20 I still need help tracing where this hose run to.

Heres another vid. After looking at the diagram, I still cant seem to find where this hose go.

Sorry guys. Im still learning.

do you have oil pressure? doesnt sound good...

the one from the water pump goes to the radiator,lower driver side. the one on your left hand goes to the radiator, top passenger side.

it also looks like your egr is not hooked up.

you should have two hoses that go into pipes and back to hoses that run from the heater core outlet and inlet on the passenger side firewall, at the other end, one goes to the water pump, the other goes to the radiator.

Did you download the manuals from the manual section? Pg. 51 in "94SvcMan-Volume1of2-part1of2.pdf" shows you what you are asking.

Is it possible those hose are just let over and another hose was already run?

I think you are having two separate issues and combining them into one. Let deal with the over heating issue. The cap doesn't say one or isn't sealing good. Simple, replace the cap.

The starting issue may simply mean you need to replace the ignition switch. I'm having issue with my car starting right now and I know that the wires in the ignition switch are worn. You have to remember these are 15+ year old cars.
