Default Disposing of oil?

Where could I dispose used oil? Do you think maybe it could be picked up in recycling? Thanks

I know Autozone used to take used oil, haven't taken it there in a while but you might give them a call and see. Not sure if O'Rileys take it or not? Also depends if you have one close by.

i know its this way in NY but it also might be a national law. any place that sells oil must take used oil. but like i said thats in ny. for example i can take my used oil to any dealership or gas station and they have to except it.
