difference between SS and Z28

Default difference between SS and Z28

will someone tell me the difference between the SS camaro and the Z28 camaro of the same year...i thought it was the slp intake...ls6 intake manafold, the hood, and the speakers...am i right ?

no...SS had a better suspension and some had a different exhaust, they had a different hood and spoiler thats about it

the ls6 intake was on ALL 01+ ls1 cars. the ss, as alih said, was just suspension, visual, and catback

Catback was only sometimes, it was an option, not a requirement to get the SS badge. There were a crap load of options you could get but didn't have to.

Same thing with the Trans-am and WS6. Its a appearance and suspension package in short.

Except the WS6 was all done in the factory where as the SS was shipped to SLP to have the extra work done.

what is the difference between a firebird and formula firebird? i know thats kinda off subject, but ive never known

the firebird is the v6, the formula firebird is a v8 car with all of the v6 trim, so it looks like a v6 but has the v8 of that year.

yea the biggest difference is the suspension and exhuast but in my SS i also have the Torsion differential and there was also different level of suspension packages.

yeah firebirds had so many different packges its hard to tell the difference between them.
