i think he is set on keeping it stock all the way ,an i am sure he knows how much headers make a difference in letting the car breath ,an he aslo is going green hehehehe headers on my 406 was a must becouse of many reasons ,i kinda see your point with not doing them ,you still only get 2 pipes into one into 2 again ,so if you cant do true duals i just think cost is not worth it ,though almost everyone does it now,i did not have headers when mine was lt1 either ,i only had 4 inch wide 22inch magna flo tips wich helped with the sound of the car,i want a stock ls1 car an to keep it that way for a few years atleast, while i plan for the 600hp monster they can be built up to

I actually have a chip and colder t stat in it now.
That's one of the reasons I never did headers on my '93. Lots more stuff out there for my '01 so it's getting them come Spring after hibernation mode. 😆

Very nice. I have actually been looking at an 01 SS for the ease of getting mods for it and still keep it legal.

Do it if you can, I had a lot of fun with my '93 but I like this car a lot better and there's just so much more available for it.
Check out a couple of my threads if you have time. I've been doing all sorts of things, from new projector headlights to LS6 heads from a Z06 Vette in the works.
