Why did the owner of Papa John put out a 1/4 million dollar reward for finding his car is a PI could have found it in a afternoon? It also took him years to find it. Why would some PI just go get the info and collect his 1/4 mil within 24 hours?

The car changed hands twice and never left the State.

 

For the right amount of money maybe. Personally I think it needs to totally repainted to something that doesn't suck. Just my opinion!

 

Because from what I understand, he didn't have his VIN info. If he had, a P.I. could have been able to track down the car in an afternoon.
But then, it would have been up to the scruples of the P.I., since finding the owner didn't involve it being a legal matter.
