today i i found a guy that has a camaro that he is parting out. all he wanted was the engine and the tranny. he said i could take the whole car for free!! i think it was an amazing deal lol. so im gonna take that dash and try to modify it to fit a double din. i know its gonna take some time on doing this but if i can make it work and look good i will let you guys know and take pictures of it.

Dude Nice! wish I got the a whole 4th gen maro body for free. Maybe I wouldnt have a cracked dash

yeah its really nice. the paint is all faded but tha dont mean anything to me. the interior is is really good condition. the body has no dents or dings either, very clean car. its asham to see it be a parts car lol.

Haha would it happen to have the steering column cover? If you dont need that i'll pay for shipping, and even the dash if it's still in good condition

i took a look at the dash again and the dash has a large crack in it. now the steering column is the piece under the steering wheel right? sorry im that kinda guy that says take that piece off and that piece off and change that piece and so on so on. lol

if tht is the piece that i was talking about. i will have to look at it tomorrow. its out at the shop.

the 4th gens are 1.5 DIN. The 93-97 have the curve that really only allows for a single din w/o modifying the dash. I found some that had done a touchscreen down below in the pocket on the earlier 4th gens. Anything can be done with 'glass and some skill and patience.
