Default Couple of questions

I picked up a 94 camaro the other day, it has a couple of issues, but nothing too serious, I hope. One, is it has an oil leak.. They are saying it's a valve cover gasket, but it's not burning it, it's dripping under the car, i'd think that if it was a valve gasket leak, it'd be burning it off on the engine, but either way, it's not a serious leak.. The second thing, the AC works, but only from the floor or defrost vents.. the dash vents don't work, I read somewhere it could be due to the fact it has a cold-air intake, and they left a vaccum hose off, I can't find one off.. Any ideas on what could cause this, or if it is the hose, where it's at.. This is a 3.4L

i've never seen a camaro that hasnt had an oil leak -_-...

hm idk about that AC thing. i've never heard that. but if the vacuum hose is off then just look on the intake itself and just see whats attached to it, a thick black hose and a small little hose with with a nice little blue tip. should be on the top connected to the elbow.

how is the charging system? (i.e. Alternator)

A/C vacuum hoses are usually found on the manifold side of the throttle body. A cold air intake wouldn't hurt that. Look elsewhere on the engine.

The charging system seems to be doing good. I will look into it more later on.. I bought it as a project.. It's alittle older than I wanted to mess with, I had a 2000 a couple years ago, wrapped it around a tree because of the rain.. But, I got a good deal on this one. I've got a few things to do with it, those two things being the main. It needs paint, right now it's primered, and whatever idiot had it knew nothing about what he was doing, he wired the stereo up in it, or-- re-wired it, the wiring doesn't work.. But, thats all minor stuff, in time it'll get better.

Baseballer91, Dude, love that car.. My old one looked just like it, not quite that shade on the paint. Nice job!

your oil leak sounds like the rear intake gasket is leaking
