Default corvette wheel help

Hi I just bought some c6 rims and i am looking for some help. I am going to need a spacer for the rear wheels i belive and i was wondering if anyone knew which size i am going to need. The rim sizes are 18x8.5 and 19x10. Also, does anyone know what tire size will fit in my wheel well without rubbing. I am Driving a 99 V6 Camaro. Any ideas or know of any web sites that can help? Thank you

I think a 275 or 285 is the widest you can put without sticking out or rubbing, as far as the spacer you need to just measure the stock wheels and the vette ones and find the back spacing and subtract that difference and get a spacer about that thick.

question, can you stick those on v6 cars? i mean i've seen ls1's with them, and i LOVE the look, going to put them on mine when i get a v8 (dream, too much for insurance right now) if you get them to work on the v6, let me know. how much did you give for them and where did you get them if you don't mind my asking

Hey, So I did my research and got my spacers. Heres what you have to do, Get some 1.25" spacers, stock corvette wheels size 285/35/19 and 245/40/18. I had to buy some new locking lug nuts for my wheels because the stock camaro ones are pretty ugly. I am waiting for all of my stuff to come in the mail, but i will post some pictures of the car when I am done. And I bought the wheels on Craigslist.com for $325, best place one the net in my opinion. GO THERE! Here is the web site that helped me http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4877999

just right click on the picture and hit edit, it'll bring up your picture in windows paint. hit image, go down to stretch/skew and type in like 65% in both of the first places then hit ok and thats about it

I know this is kind of an old topic, but I was wondering if you just need adapters for the rear wheels of a 2002 Camaro V6. I am going to get a set of C6 Corvette wheels 18's in the front and 19's in the back. So again do I just need rear adapters 1.25" or will I need adapters for the front? If I do need adapters for both front and rear, do they all use the same size adapters? Thanks for your time.

I put the front wheels on today to see if it would fit. Front wheels fit perfect with no adapters required! I drove it around the block to make sure nothing rubbed or scraped. Now just waiting for adapters for rear wheels then I'll be set. Ordered adapters online, and have to wait a couple of days. I'll post pics when I get everything put together.
