Cooling Fan
I have 1995 Camaro that I just put back together and the cooling fan will not turn on. The car had some electrical problems before it runs perfectly but the fan will not turn on. The fuses have been checked. Any info will be helpful.

do the fans come on when the ac is turned on. what motor is this? here is some info on cooling system for lt1 which some applies to v6 as well. 4th Gen LT1 F-body Tech Articles

the fan doesn't turn on until, i believe 225* or something around there, basically the line between the middle line and the red line on the gauge.
keep in mind the gauges on these cars are pretty terrible when it comes to accuracy so it may come on a little before or after the line.

^ Which is what I told him before. But if your fans are coming on with the A/C, you have nothing to worry about. They normally don't come on if the car is constantly in motion unless it's slowly creeping through traffic or you're sitting idle. But really anything above 25 with very few stops will allow enough airflow through the radiator to keep the fans off and the engine within normal operating temp.

the fans are turned on by the computer.
the engine coolant temp sensor tells the computer what temp it is. if the fans need to come on the computer sends power to the fan relays and they send the power to the fans. the power does however go through the ignition system as well. i would start looking at the fan relays to see if theres power there when ac is on.

i dont see how. nothing would happen if the power was not getting to the ecm. the wiring schematic is in the link i posted. start tracking back and testing to see where the power starts.
