Default Coolant refill procedure/overheating no heat

Ok, have a 1997 RS 3.8 V6,

Overheated, so I fushed the system and changed the thermostat, and refilled the system w/50/50.

I noticed the sticker that stated there was a special refill procedure, I do not have an owners manual or repair manual, so looked it up here and online and found no info, so I filled it the old school normal way (filled the rad and ran it till the thermstat opened and refilled the radiator, I also opened the bleed screw on the thermostat housing and bled off the air in the system until coolant was coming out.)

It was fine for a few days and it started overheating again and the radiator was empty again, I want to make sure I am filling it correctly before moving on to somthing else.

Anyone know what this refill procedure is??? Or what the overall problem is???

Thanks in Advance

There is a little elbow below the intake manifold, that goes from the manifold to the tensioner assembly. Kind of hard to see, but you may look at that for a leak. From what you have said, it sounds like you filled it fine.

yes, you filled it the correct way and it should be fine. Do you see it leaking anywhere? is it burning it? any white smoke?

check for white smoke with a sweet smell.

check for creamy color engine oil.

if your loosing coolant and see no leaks.....go down to your oil drain plug an slowly unscrew it...take not if you see water come out before the oil does.

Ok back on this again, My problem seems to have gotten worse. At first it was just loosing coolant (Somewhere) but never a any thing wet or any puddles anywhere, now I have a major flowing coolant leak right under the intake manifold. You mentioned a tube underneath there, what is this tube? And if it is leaking what is the extent of repair, like does the intake have to come off?

Any way it is leaking under the manifold so I am assuming it has to come off either way, and that looks like a major PAIN!!!!

1997 RS 3.8 V6
Thanks
