the car was perfectly fine then when i parked it the coolant just started pouring out! im on my half right now so i9 have no time to look at it and i had to call a friend to take me back to work so does anybody have any things i can check?
meybe it boiled over or a hose cracked or came off? i have no clue! its hella hot here though so meybe that could have caused a problem?! any info pleaze!

low on water, bad thermostat, clogged radiator, non-working fan are the most common. worst case senario blown head gasket or cracked head. where was the coolant coming from? sick

 

so it wouldnt be the hoses? i dont know where its comin from were going to go look now!

 

okay well we looked all over and think it could be coming out somwhere around the top by the radiator but still are pretty clueless are there any tips i can get or things to check? we bought more coolant and it still just comes out around the top. right under the cai theres a hose thats wet but it seems its driupping on to the hose? wher e else could it be leakin?

o what about my heater hoses? i have a report saying they are cracking badly! so could they've finally cracked? would that have caused it? thanks

 

Fiii it up with water & run it till it's hot. squeeze the hoses, look around the hose clamps, radiator tank and fitings, look around the water pump, look everywhere. Finding a big external leaks is no big deal, you gout to get in there get dirty and look around, lol.

Don't bother wasting money on sntifreeze at this time, just add water till you fix the leak. Pull the radiator cap & make sure it is full. While there check around the neck of the radiator and all the hose fittings on the radiator. The tanks at the side of the radiator are made of plastic and can crack & leak. With the engine fully hot, sqeeze the radiator hoses, this fill force the coolant out of the leak. Hoses have a tendency to crack and leak around the hose clamps, so check them all.

 

i just ame in and seen your reply to me but when i was out there just now i got the car hot and it started leaking again. so i poped the hood and there was lots of steam coming from behind my k&n air intake! so i see this litle thing right behind the intake. is that the water pump? id take a pictur but my gf has the camaerra so i got this picture to show where its by! that thing has wires that go towards the radiator.and also with those wires theres a wire that looks like a shoelace and is also leading towards the fans and radiator
anyway its realy hard to find stuff because theres so much stuff everywherre! but after whatever is leaking stops l;eaking, you can here a pfffffffffff noise like air is also coming out(probably pressure)
damn i feel so close but still broke what ever it is it by the cai !
heres that picture its behing the intake thats leakin if the intake wasnt there the "thing" im talkin about would be in the circle

Remove the K&N duct. Under there lives the upper radiator hose, and heater hoses to the throttle valve. Check them out.

 

yesssssssss! i found it. yep. just under the air intake was a big black hose that is cracked in two places!

Now how do i get all the water out so i can put coolant in again?
what is the best coolant to use?
