which is what i was trying to tell the kid. i have a convertible, i love it. others have t-tops that they love. its all a matter of opinion and what you like better. he asked what would be better for him and the answer to that is either one would be good. we could get into the debate of why people think this is cool and that is cool, but different opinions is why we have so many different types of cars out there. i could fire off why would people buy a v6 camaro, but that's their preference. go with what you think looks cool and is in your price range and you won't have a problem!

camaros are about open air.....t-tops and coverts are great. t-tops give you one less mechanical thing to worry about.......
follow your dream and what you want you only live once. SFC

I actually wanted a convertable, but with my school being not in an exactly "safe" area I didn't wanna risk it. The cloth top seems way more vulnurable than glass. So I got t-tops which are a great compromise. It can get a pain to take em off and put them back on though, but its worth it. Also the hardtops have more structural strength so if you ever plan on using this car for drag racing get the hard top.

There was a whole thread proving that wrong. the coupes are just Ttops with a big piece of plastic over it.

Yea, spartan, that's right. When I said "hardtops" i meant T-tops as well. I meant that T-tops and Hardtops have more structural stength over the verts.

Actually.... I remember driving with T-tops off and three chicks in the car at.... pretty high speeds. Their hair kept getting in my face.
