Default RE: computer problems

I have a Z-28, so I am not positive if this would help. But when changing the IAC you need to measure the distance between the tip of the valve and the mounting flange. On the LT1 it needs to be under 28mm, and if its not you need to retract it by pushing in the tip. After it is installed the valve needs to be reset. on the LT1 here is the procedure, it may work with the 6 cyl too, the basic operation of the IAC is the same.

[ol][*]Depress accelerator pedal slightly.[*]Start and release accelerator pedal, run engine for 5 seconds.[*]Turn ignition "OFF" for 10 seconds.[*]Restart engine and check for proper idle operation.[/ol]
Hope this helps.

Another thought, did you check the operation of the tps sensor, making sure it springs properly.
