Default Clutch pedal won't return

95 Camaro 5 speed 3.4L V6

I need help diagnosing my clutch problem please. I was driving down the road experiencing no problems at all when 2nd grinded when I downshifted on a routine turn. When I went to shift to 3rd I couldn't get in any gears. Once in a parking lot I realized that the clutch pedal wouldn't return to it's original position. I press down and it doesnt spring back more than halfway. The engine is unaffected and all the power works. I just can't get into any gears. I have not checked any fluids yet.

I would thnk that this must have something to do with clutch master cylinder or somewhere in the hydraulic assembly. More thoughts would be awesome.
