Default Clutch pedal sticks

OK so last week I was about to back out of my drive way so I did the usual push in clutch shift to reverse let out clutch, but when I let out on the clutch it was stuck all the way to the floor. I pulled it out and let it set for a moment and pushed in and pulled it out a couple times, worked fine, then proseded to drive about 200 miles without any other problems

it was fine for about a week, until yester day when i did the same thing but this time it worked for a about five feet and it would be stuck again it would be stuck in the reverse until i pumped the clutch in and out a couple times. after I did said action it worked fine and I drove the car another 30 miles and once again it was fine.

But today it stuck again, same thing as yesterday only now it wont work right at all after I pump it a couple times, the clutch will stick for a moment at the half way point then pop out on its own will.

I realy need some help with this so any would be appriciated.
And if it was bad that I drove it with it doing this, dont lay it on me to hard.
PS all three times the clutch would work great until I tried to back up then it would start sticking.
Thanks again for any help

Your slave cylinder is probably going bad. My clutch was sticking too, so I took my slave cylinder out to inspect it and one side of the plastic strap that holds the rod in the slave cylinder housing snaped so I replaced it and it fixed the problem. Then a week later my master cylinder went out and my pedal went all the way to the floor and had to shift the car without the clutch to get it home. So pull off your slave cylinder and inspect it.

It is either the slave cylinder or the pressure plate itself. If you clutch has high miles you should replace both since on your car the release bearing and Slave cylinder are all one pc. Take a look at the Center Force dual fiction clutch. They make about the best stock like clutch. Unless you go to a stage 3 racing clutch it will be hard to find a stronger one. It is a little spendy compared to the Ebay clutches but if you read some of the ebay clutch horror stories out there you will understand why I went with the CF DF clutch.
Your going to need:
Reman or new Flywheel
New GM Fly wheel bolts (DO NOT REUSE)
CF DF Clutch kit
Release bearing/slave cylinder
Pilot bearing
Clutch Alignment tool.
