Default clutch issue

Working on a 94 V6 3.4 with 5 speed. I replaced the clutch a while back and i guess the autozone plate was junk because all the stuff came off the motor side of the clutch. I paid a local mechanic to replace it. I know him very well and dont doubt his work. After getting it together you couldn't get it in gear. We replaced the slave first. Bled it as best you can without a bleeder. No change. Replaced the master, bled it and no change. So I went ahead and bought the prebled system for the car. Now it still wont go into gear. While laying under it if the clutch is pressed to the floor i can use a bar and move the fork about a half inch farther. When i do this the slave piston with come out to meet the fork. Letting the bar go the slave will hold it there. The car will shift then. Also the slave moves every time the pedal is pressed. It seems that the slave isnt getting enough throw. Is something put together wrong with the clutch? Am i not getting enough throw from the slave? This car has no adjustment at all on it. Any help would be great.
