changing thermostat in a 3.4 95

Default changing thermostat in a 3.4 95

i need to replace my thermostat and i needed to know how

anybody got any help?

make sure the engine is completely cool before you start. remove the air duct leading to the throttle body. then disconnect the radiator hose from the thermostat neck. it can be a challenge to the get to the bolts. some people remove the throttle body for easier access and if you plan to do this then you will need another gasket for it. angle sockets or ratchet wrenches will remove the bolts with the throttle body on. once the bolts are out then remove the neck and make sure when you place the new thermostat in that the spring goes downward. replace the o ring and then installation is reverse of removal. be careful placing the bolts back that you dont cross thread it or you are screwed.
