Thumbs up Changing Fuel Pump (Trap Door)

I am not by any means taking the credit for this but wanted to post it on here for anybody else that is needing to change there fuel pump and are looking for an alternative to dropping the tank. Believe me it is so much easier. I have never dropped a tank but from what I have heard I don't want to. The link is of a V8 but it worked just the same on my V6. I don't know if the tanks are any bigger or smaller on the V8 but it worked. Hope this helps you guys out.

That guy on the LS1 site sure made some pretty schlocky looking cuts, and holes in the cover. And man, you think he used enough screws? There's still room to fit a few more. Looky mine (3rd gen)! It's a shame I had to cover up such a work of art!! lol
