Recently figured out my fuel pump was bad. I decided to go with the "hatch" method. I bought the pump, and cut the hole. I'm not to sure of how well the pump will work.. I bought the spectra premium pump with sending unit.

Thanks for the replies !
My Pump will be arriving tomorrow, hopefully not too late so I can get my baby running again!

Mine has about 144k miles, pump was still original up until a few months ago when it pooped out on me;

I got it at lowes. It's took awhile to find some but eventually stumbled upon them.. There are many pre-cut sheets. Across from the mail boxes is the last place I thought to look.. Lol

How did you get the pump out? I have to change my pump and cut the access hole, removed the nuts holding the pump on, but can't get the pump out... do you need to remove the lines on top of the pump and tilt the pump to get it out? If so, how do you get the lines removed on top of the tank?
