Default Changing fuel pump

Recently figured out my fuel pump was bad. I decided to go with the "hatch" method. I bought the pump, and cut the hole. I'm not to sure of how well the pump will work.. I bought the spectra premium pump with sending unit.

1993-1995 Chevrolet Camaro Fuel Pump - Spectra SP3907H - In-Tank, Quad, OE replacement

any thoughts?

Spectra makes good stuff. You should be fine.

My 94 has almost 140k miles and AFAIK the pump is original. Can't be long now.....

I got it at lowes. It's took awhile to find some but eventually stumbled upon them.. There are many pre-cut sheets. Across from the mail boxes is the last place I thought to look.. Lol

How did you get the pump out? I have to change my pump and cut the access hole, removed the nuts holding the pump on, but can't get the pump out... do you need to remove the lines on top of the pump and tilt the pump to get it out? If so, how do you get the lines removed on top of the tank?

Remove the lines from the pump and it should pull out
