Default Change of interrior/frame of gen 4

in my continued search to find the right gen 4 camaro for myself, i drove a 95,96, and 2001 today. the 96 was great, loved the interrior was very comfortable, ran awesome was a fun drive. the 2001 tho i felt crammed. i leaned the seat back and my vision was still blocked by where the windshield and ceiling meet. now im 6'3'' so its expected that i dont fit too well in a lot of cars, but in the 96 i fit fine and had no problem with blocked vision. did they change the height or angle within those years? i would prefer getting a sl1 over an lt1, but if im just not as comfortable in the newer ones, than thats not really an option..

In 1997 they changed the gauge cluster and I believe the 98+ years had slightly different seats (someone correct me if I'm wrong...). Other than the the roof height and angle of the windshield is exactly the same. The only exterior difference between 96/97 cars and the 98+ are the front fenders, hood and front clip.
