Default Car Wont Start!

Help!

I am stuck at work!

I turned the key and nothing. I get all my power. I have power to seats, windows, radio..etc.

When I turn the key I don't even get a single click. I hear the fuel pump prime.

I checked all my fuses under the hood and everything checks out ok...

I was thinking maybe a bad solenoid but usually wouldn't you get a click noise at least? Dead silence over here

PS - not sure if it makes a difference or not but it is 80 degrees outside right now so internal temps are hot...

What is with the security light?

I asked the guy I bought it from if it had a factory alarm and he said no? There is a light that is always on. There is a little clear box in the center console that has adjustments for sensetivity. There is a two button alarm button wired in to the harness. The 2 button remote was hanging down near the gas pedal when I purchased the car so I hid it behind the cigarette lighter. I also found a one-button switch behind the fuse panel.

The alarm never seemed to work so I cut out the alarm horn. It was in the way of my installation of the K&N CAI.

Should I remove all those wires? Is that supposed to be the factory alarm? I would like an alarm but I was figuring on purchasing a new Clifford or Viper?

Ya this sounds like security issue, regardless of wether or not it had the factory security when you bought it, was your car orginally equipped with it?

How would I even tell if it was factory installed. It appears to be a factory installed alarm. It is a very clean install. I can't remember the brand on the alarm however.

The car is still at the shop getting the starter changed...supposedly it is fried
