ok, i had the other key sent to the mech, he will look at it this week and i should have the car back by friday evening.

 

Ah....I know what your problem is. The same thing happened to my 94' last month.
The wires in the ignition switch have come apart..u now have 2 choices....
Take the wheel, all that crap off...replace the $150 ignition...
or...
Basicly hotwire it like i did...I used a bunch of resistors saudere din a line, and found the two wires running up to the igntion, cut them at the base of the coloum, put the resistors in and it works..i also added in a couple switches in some certain places that are hidden, and did some other things so most people aren't able to get in and start it with a screw driver...lemme know if u wanna do this i'll tell u more about it..

 

lol, already beat you! But yeah my wire was broke, he replaced the part to save me the trouble of it doing it again, now hes moved on to my cooling system, water pump and opti spark.

 

hey im having the same prob when i try statrting it i got nuthing new batt starter selonoid good connections at batt n starter but if i cross the starter over it tries to start? good fuel pressure b4 that it would just start n die

 

what type of resistors do i need just sumthing from radio shak? how do i find the value? im thinking the 2 white wires 94 3.4 just basicaly splice them in?

 

Spartan66 dont feel bad i know exactlly how you feel, i was 15 wen i saved up for my car, my dad said that he would pay half and that he would do all the mechanical work, well he only had 150 and the car was 800, he dint buy the windshield which he said he would for $160,brakes,power steering assemble, lights,tires, and some other minor stuff. I also work at a theather *REGAL CINEMAS RULES*and dont make much money so i really feel fo u, but just hang in there and NEVER again say that you would or had a v6 mustang or any mustang for that matter bkus we will find you like the guys from the stride commencial, we might even tow ur car and take it 2sumone who deserves it. as for chrismorales75 i feel for you also when will they admit defeat to vats
