car is sputtering on acceleration.

crank and cam sensors are in the opti 93-95.

Im start to think thats what is wrong. I read the sticky about opti spark symptoms and it sounds like thats what it is. Now i just dont know what brand to go with. The local partsstorre has a cardone and richportor.the rich portOr is cheaper being 200 and the cardone is 290

which one has the best warranty? failure can be an issue with less expensive opti's

The cardone is a remanufactured but comes with a cp and rotor. The rich portor is new but doesnt come with cap and has a lifetime warranty rotor and has a lifetime warranty. The new cardone doesnt show price. Will i need the cap and rotor.

Autozone also has a duralast for 160 no cqpa nd rotor but has lifetime

have not heard good things bout the duralast yes you need a cap and rotor. make sure you thread lock the screws on the rotor.

i think im going to replace the icm first then coil if those dont fix it i will go opti. the opti just looks like a pita to replace.

I just changed the cam sensor and my mis fire codes went away plus still u want to change crankshaft sensor then coil packs and wires and plugs to be safe

^^^ this is a lt1, only has one coil and the cam/crank sensor is in the opti.
