i got my HPtuners set up today so im off to scan it and hopefully get it dialed in soon. i have fixed the idle already which is nice, and raised redline to 6.8k

 

damn, sounds exactly like my dad's vette @ idle, so now i KNOW his is cammed. haha. so uhh, when are you giving me the car[8D]

 

Nice ride, I think I would only see the back of that car in a race![&o], What did you have to raise your idle to for it to idle well?

idle was set to 950, and there was another setting.... something about disabling "proportional to idle" something or other...... it helped quite a bit. it still surges a little, i have work to do with it, but i scanned it today, the fuel trims and timing are still pretty close which is awesome. i need to richen up a little up top, and lean out down low, but its not nearly as bad as i thought it would be, and that 6800rpm rev limiter is pretty sweet too

 

Mine's not quite that high (6300), but yes it's awesome. Did you have to pull up some extra tables for the idle, or were they already there? All I can do is adjust the idle speed.

 

so far i have only adjusted idle speed. but there are some other things i can do in HP tuners. i need to look up the changes they recommend, but they should be able to diminish surging at low rpm (which is a pain in the *** when trying to park) and the fading at idle.
