there is a 95 camaro near me its a v6 and the lady is asking $1000. The car is in really nice condition on the outside. I didnt get a chance to look at the inside and the lady said that there is a problem with a head gasket or the manifold and that it needs a new engine. I really dont know anything about cars so im looking to you people but from what it sounds like is this engine done? Even if it is i would like to just use the car for parts then or swap engines from my car to that becuase alot of stuff is falling apart on mine.

 

It really depends on what the issue is. You could just have to replace a head gasket and it will be fine. If the motor was overheated and one of the ehads got warped then it's going to be a different story. The price sounds right, even if you have to do some minor repairs, but you should find out a bit more details on what's wrong with it before you purchase it.

 

ill give her a call again tomorrow and see if she knows anything else about the problem i also didnt ask how many miles were on the car either and i havent look at the interior yet

 

Sounds like it could be a good doner car to make yours a better one.
Just ask yourself this question:
Are your problems worth the $1000?

 

well that is a very good question and i dont think they are but you never know if she'll take 500 for it
