The link to the tutorial that showed how the guy made his own air intake for 10 dollars(on a camaro), it has been posted before but I can't seem to find the right thread >< I know it is kinda blunt and may not tur up but it was the one with the dryer duct and home depot supplies if you know what I am talking about plz help lol kinda a shot in the dark. That shorty model of yours will look good with a blown big block in it. Something like a 60 era "A" gasser. LOL

 

if yer talking about a SRI, all i did with mine was bought a 45 dollar cone filter, and slapped it on the end, where the filter box was, deffently made a difference too.

 

Lol big block blown huh nice like it came right out of grease. Anyways no it wasn't the sri it was a cai the guy used dryer duct to get air from around the licence plate to filter and he made a tutorial of it.

I must admit, the concept of that is interesting. It just seems too ricerish for my blood to actually do that. I physically wouldn't be able to cut up my front end and put in drying machine ducting, my hands would just become paralyzed if I began to do that. If you wanna do that though go for it.

I would not do it. the amount of work time and effort multiplied by the gaims = not worth it........

 

It would be a fair amount of work but for the money don't you think you could get 7-10hp from it?
