Ask yourself this question. If you've ever been to the local drags and seen the street cars with their hoods up how many of those things did you see under there? Probably not any huh? Until NHRA starts using them is when I'll be convinced.

haha, yea, well, honestly, pretty soon, with all the electircal run stuff.. wouldnt surprise me if something like that came out, that actually worked, worked good too...

the one i saw at the store, prolly didnt give horse it said it did, wouldnt doubt it would add like 10 or 15 tho.. it's atleast gonna add the horse a CAI would.

 

They still sell them becase people still buy them. My advice is dont fall into the trap and walk away. Some of the high price one's do work if you dont mind spending around 500 bucks they might add about 10 HP. The cheap one's like this one do not. Lets Use a LS1. Put your hand over the TB at idle ok. Now think about how much air it pulls at say 6000 RPM's. A lot more than the little eletric fan can push. It basicly restrics the air flow coming into the engine more than it push's. Thats my input on it any way fill free to corect me if i am wrong.
