I'm thinkin about cammin my '02 ss. It has SLP air lid, lt headers, cats, y-pipe, power-flo,maf, ram-air, and K&N filter. I want a cam that will give me more power, but still be reliable! All the numbers are a little confusing, but I do know how to install a cam, so I would rather someone reccomend a good cam for my set-up.What are some good cams? And, what about tuning? Do you have to tune? How do you tune? Are there any good cams that add good power without having to tune? I want a slightly rougher idle, but not too rough. I would like it to give power in the ,low-to-mid rpm range. I don't need the biggest, best racing cam, just something that is simple, adds good power and is still reliable!
