So how's this for an oddity... I had some work done on my 94 a couple days ago, and part of the work required the removal of the steering column. Today, my wife was following me in our other car, and she asked me why I kept signaling left when I was turning right. I told her that I'm pretty sure I wasn't... but when I checked out the turn signals, sure enough, when I was signaling right, the right signal was blinking on the dash and in the front of the car, but on the rear of the car, the left signal was blinking. The left signal made all signals blink left as they should, and the hazards made all signals blink except for the right signal on the back (only the left on the back blinks). So... back to the Firestone shop it went, and now they're pulling out the steering column to figure out what they did wrong. Better them than me!

Just got it back, and it turn signals are working as they should again. The guy that worked on my car last Saturday wasn't there though. I bet the guy that had to spend half of his day fixing the other guy's screw up was thrilled.

 

why would you take it to a tire and oil place to have a column pulled? that was your first mistake!

 

Yeah, tell me about it...

Oh well... lesson learned!
