Camaro ticking sound
I have a 1999 Camaro engine and it has a motor out of a 99 Buick with just about 100K on it. Lately it has been making a ticking sound after it warms up. It is only there until I go over 10 mph and I can't hear it. It ticks faster when I put the car in reverse. Also it sounds louder towards the bottom of the motor, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ticking sound: noisy lifters or an exhaust leak between the manifold & head or at the manifold to header pipe donut.
An exhaust leak like that can fool someone into thinking it's a lifter/engine noise.
A lower engine noise would be a knock, not a tick.

Wow, that sounds more like a whack than a tick.
I'd try removing the serpentine belt and then running the engine for a moment, to see if it's a belt driven accessory (or not) making the noise.
And if the sound goes away, start fiddling with all the pulleys by hand to see if one turns stiff, wobbly, noisy, or weird in any way.

Alright i took off my serpentine belt and let it run for 15 minutes to warm up and heard no sound. I then put it back on and let it run for another 20 minutes and heard nothing. I drove it around then and after 2 miles i heard that sound again!!

You ran the motor for 15 minutes without a waterpump? I am very surpised you did not lock up the motor and would not be surpised at all if you damaged the head gaskets. You understand what the word "moment" means? Anything over a minute is risky.
Start looking for a new engine.
In the mean time use a hard object like a long screw driver or a broom stick and set it on all the things the belt turns one by one. Put your ear against the the object. The knocking noise will me much louder in the item causing the issues. Once you have done all the other items then do the block itself and each head. The loudest spot is the winner.

Alright after trying to find it with my deaf ear, And stripping the oil plug(thanks to valvoline for tightening the **** out of it) I brought it in to get my oil changed and it turned out to be an exhaust manifold. Thanks for the help
