ok when i bought my camaro it came with RS emblems. but it didnt have the 3 piece spoiler or ground effects but it had "rally sport" stlye stripes. so i thought huh...oh well maybe the previous owners put them on. but when i look up camaro RS on google, yahoo, etc.. this camaro comes up. http://www.extreme-z.com/appearance/...amaro_RS_1.jpg Its the exact camaroi have down to the grille, rims, and stripe style (with the exception of the colors) i noticed it also has RS emblems on it. so is there two types of RS camaros in the 4th generation models?

by the way on one of the stickers on the side of the doors it says SLP the rest of the sticker is faded so i cant read itbut isnt SLP the same as aY87? and it has the muffler with dual outlets and all 4 wheels have brake discs

badinfluence will tell you a rs= ground effects.

i have seen 3-4 cars with tags but no ground effects. the g/f's old 95 on the title it said rs but it didnt have tags.

 

but the Y87's dont have ground effects do they? and tyler2497bout the paint codeim not sure. ill find out tomm.

the 'rs' camaros came ina Y87 code.....and that came with the ground affects and exhaust and better differential and only came ina AT....I might be mistaken but yea.

 

my non y87 has rs tags.

 

A 2001 Camaro comes with 4 wheel disc brakes, regardless of specific model. Also, SLP reintroduced the RS package, which included rally stripes and a dual exhaust Z28 muffler. I don't believe SLP included any body kits with their RS package.
