Default Which Camaro is best for me?

Alright, so I'm looking to get a Camaro. So far I've been looking at the 1969, 1998-2002 Z28/SS models.

Which of these is easiest to maintain and would probably get the most mpg? (What gas milage should I be expecting in a camaro with automatic transmission?)

I've heard something that the 99s or so were easier to get tuned, is this true?

its kinda obvious that the 98-02 will be easier to maintain the 69 is a classic and really isnt the best choice to drive often. and im sure the ls motor gets better mpg then a traditional sbc

Is there any real difference between the 1998-2002 models or would any of those do?

The LS1 engine had some upgrades in 2001. (A 5hp bump in power to a full 350hp).

Other than that, they are pretty much the same.

Ya, I'd have to agree with the others, you'd be better off in a 4th gen than clocking all those miles in a classic.
