if you can live without t tops or if your car has t tops then go with the 96, diagnosing problems would be easier, any pics? what are the mileage on each of them? hows the body condition? floorpans rusted? do you know if they run or not? depending if they have same mileage or if the 96 has less miles then go with the 96. If you get it cheap enough, then buy em both so you`ll have a parts car in case of an accident because it seems there arent too many where you are located.

brain storming guys and random sentences may help.

The '96 V6 might have disc brakes for the rear if it was an RS model. I'm not sure if it was available any other way, but somebody else on the board might be able to help with that. My base '96 came with the typical drums in the back.

As for which one to get, I suppose it comes down to mileage and condition, and if you want a 3.4 (1994) or the 3.8 (1996). Good luck on whatever decision you make.
