Smile Cam/tune problem .. Help PLEASE

ok.. so i bought a 2002 ss.. the guy i bought it from said he installed a new cam on it but didnt tune it. now when i drive if on any gear if the rpm is low the car kinda like wanna stop/ runs rough, you gotta give it more gas for it to run smooth. rpm goes down when i stop.. sometimes it even stalls. is this because it hasnt been tuned because i dont want to waste my money on something that wouldnt fix the problem.

Problem 2. when driving then stopping the rpm gets stuck at 2000 (or 2500) and takes like 10 seconds or so for it to go back to normal level 1000 or 8500

id appreciate all the feedback.. thanks in advance

sounds like a tune problem to me contact mad tuners or pcmforless they'll get you a decent tune for cheap. the second problem could be a sticky tb jst spray some lube on it and if that doesnt work it could also be a tune thing

i did get to thinking though...it might be kind of hard to tune it if you don't know the specs of the cam...

You won't be able to get a mail-order tune like PCMforless without knowing the cam specs, but if you got a full dyno tune they would be able to get it tuned for you.

if you go to a good dyno shop and tell them the problem and say you believe its the tune but not sure they will most likly help you out if its not the tune
