Default Buying a Camaro. Questions?

A family friend is selling her Camaro.

1997 Camaro Z/28. 30th Anniversary.
T-Top. 5.7 Liter V8. Automatic.
160.xxx km (99.xxx mi)
Dealer Fully loaded.
Stored Winters.
Dealer Serviced.
Original Owner.
Price: Between $4000-5000. Price isn't set yet.

I haven't had a chance to see it yet as she lives a distance out of town, but as far as I know its in good condition and has no rust at all. MY only concern at this point would be the mileage.

What do you think?

Doesnt seem like a bad price considering everything works well (have you checked yourself?) with 90k miles and no rust. If you can lowball her to 4000 or under When you say "fully loaded" what does that mean?

I would go check it out, take it for a test drive, and if your in love than 4k doesnt sound bad at all

if its in good shape 4-5k is a good price. 5 is high for that milage, ask if the opti has been changed and see what kind of maintenance record it has.

ya dude doesnt seem like a bad deal, go check her out. but the 100k, probably doesnt really need anything, check the wires, oil change probably, spark plugs. Probably needs a basic tune up.

is it an auto or m6? m6 cars can usually pull at least 2k more than an a4

A 30th anni M6 with that mileage could go for 6+

By fully loaded I mean it came with all the dealer options for a 97 Camaro.
Like I said I haven't had a chance to see it for myself yet since November is a busy month.
I got first dibs on the car and she will store it for the winter and I can pick it up in the spring if I don't get a chance to see it before winter.

Update:

I just went out to see the car today and ended up bringing it home (lol) so I can have my mechanic check it over to tomorrow. I was a little surprised when I saw it, I was told it was black but its silver. It has chrome rims and less mileage then I was told (only 133k).

To dark outside for a picture.

A 30th anniversary edition is white with orange strips. All 97's are 30th's though.
