haha, no offence taken, there is always a difference of opinions.

as far as the sixxers, i would be really careful there.

there might be some Grand National boys who may put you in your place if you rattle to much around them. as much as i love v8's, i have learned to respect some v6ers. i have been impressed repeatedly by the 3.8 under my hood. would i have a v8 in there if i could? oh yea. am i ashamed to admit it's a v6 under the hood? not at all

haha theres a lot of 4th gens here with 6s not too many 8s (maybe people are trying to get rid of the 6s) i heard you can tune the 6s to have some major power is that true?

major power easily, no. get it into the LT1 range, not to hard.

overall it's going to come down to personal preference. some people don't want a v8 because they feel they don't need one. me, well, i love v8 power, sound, etc.

then there are guys like musicman on here who are being different and building a screaming sixxer.

it's all in what you want.

save for the v8 if you want to keep the car for a while. i think you will be happier.
