first 93 i had was great. only things i changed was the oil, plugs, opti and tires. oh and stereo. drove it for 100k miles. this one i got knowing i was going to build it so the motor was not a concern. i would recomend a 96-97.

 

96-97? any specific reason?

 

obd2 and better design on stuff dont know what all but im sure someone here can tell you

 

better engine? Tranny? aerodynamics? interior?

 

same engine tranny is electronicly controlled aerodynamics is the same and interior is different but better is an opinion

 

the transmission makes it easier to drive than the 86

 

no its just different from 93 to 96

 

engine is a 350 lt1 compared to the 305 which is a dog at like 190hp if that where the lt1 has about 300 interior is alot better seat and dash setup i think

 

yeah the 86's 305 is halfway in the dash

 

um the lt1s are just as bad if not worse
