Thank you 95camz28, you're continuing on your path to getting banned with constant post whoring. just saving you some embarassment bro CT. You're walking a fine line, I would suggest you shape up or you'll be forced to leave.

Baseballer, the fans don't turn on until the guage starts to get towards the red part of the guage.

LT1RUNNER: I didnt mean the thermo i forgot a period in there. My cooling system basically was disconnected so my car would run hot until the fans came on or i hit high speeds. I believe the previous owner wanted the car to be like a stock nascar... He leaned it out took the cat out and took the engine out for some reason and didnt hook the cooling system back up. The 1st guy i had look at it had to put new hoses in there to get it flowing again. It took forever to get heat so my windshield fogged up easily (and it was winter).

alright heres what the mechanics report said from when i had my cooling system fixed. "Customer states car runs hot and overheats. Found water pump bearing failed. Found Leaks at heater core. Recommend rebuilding cooling system R&R/Replace heater core R&R/water pump, thermostat, belt, both radiator hoses and radiator cap" and it goes on to spark plugs n wires and the opti. The leaks i believe at the heater core were due to poor mechanic work done by the previous owner or something.
