sounds like a good plan then...you may want to look into some suspension parts as well

 

yea that'll be a nice car wen its done and lik whammer said after this some suspension may be needed. and a 12 bolt

 

yea im lookin into that , they got some lakewood products out that look pretty good ... Im gonna tie the frame up , and do a strut tower brace, and put new struts front and back , and some sorta tracion mod in the rear any one got any ideas ? my buddy is looking for a 12 bolt rear for me right now .. i just wanna have the car top shape for the spring ya know i dont wanna go out to the strip the first day and blow the rear or somthing im also looking into a aluminum drive shaft with a loop

 

rear lower control arms and relocation brackets, panhard bar, torque arm

 

that should be good throw a set of nice shocks o it and ur good. and look hard for that 12 bolt and if your a member on ls1tech post in the wanted section i had a 12 bolt offered to me for 1500 but i went wit the $1800 9" that was offered to me theres deals out there u just gotta find them

 

ok im gonna get some more stuff i saved a few bucks on the motor going with ai so that frees up a bit of cash for a 12 bolt ans some traction toys ..ohh i forgot to mention i bought a set of draglites with mickeys stickeys dots on the back i havnt orderd the fronts yet due to lack of knowledge on the size, my s10 i built i had 5 inch front runners but im not sure what to run on my z any thoughts ..??. man this car should end up being a pretty bad *** street car lol!! I wonder what its gonna run ? It wont measure up to my pops 1100 hp c5 vette(he keeps reminding me of that too ) but not its to bad for my first lt1 hahaha well anyways thanks guys for the help i really apprciate it !!!!!!! if you guys think of anything else or found some good deals lemme know k thanks again

 

for the front 15x3.5 and if ur not usin them for the street look into ds-2's there the lightest. and my guess would be 11s. i forget r u sprayin it? if you r u might be knockin on the 10s door you have a real nice set up that your makin nicer. this has been one of the most interesting threads ive read on here so far.

 

ok i will look into them .. Yea im gonna spray 75 or a 100 wet shot to it on the track only ..im really stoked to get it done !! and best be sure im gonna have a video of its first start and first run at the track and mabey i will sneak a dyno vid up after i run it juuuust in case my compotion here in my town get wind of the dyno vid lol dont wanna let any secrets out b4 we race lol
