most rotors can be turned like 3 times before they are no good ,an it ussally cheaper ,mine must have been replaced when I got it at 69.000 or before ,at 101.000 now still got half a pad ,I had mine painted an while it did cost $300.00 ,it was worth it to get all the rust off them everything had to be sand blasted ,an lasted now 7 years ,it will be time to paint them again few years or sooner ,but I think well worth it .an the last few years I avoid the rain sand ,anything that makes them rust there fadeing but still very clean an rust free.vht is some good stuff ,next time I will put even more clear coat could last 10 years ,they want $200,00 for caliper covers wich are realy only for looks unless added when painting to,an a + now is that all they will need is alight sanding then paint much cheaper

Swap rotors - Amazon.com - AC/Delco, USA made, $40 ea.
It is known fact brakes will shake at a higher speed.
Stopping action is transfer of energy - stopping friction is given off as heat.
The faster the MPH in stopping from, the more heat generated.
Rotors can be turned but only some of the warp will be removed.
When a rotor is cold, it's a flat plate, heat it up, metal expands, rotor now becomes a wavy washer.
If the rotor could be heated to operating temp and cut, it would be smooth, but then the threat of cracking the rotor when cooled.

I have to agree unless I change to bigger brakes all the way around they say at high speeds,an people my opion reley on brakes way to much ,newer cars brake better ,or if one upgrades but to a point some shakeing seems normal for my 20 year old car ,but only when I need to stop quick ,I try to brake way ahead of time ,I see others who just think there car stops on a dime ,they may for long time ,I think age plays a role.an some just don't know how to drive

In actuality, brakes used quickly heat up less than brakes dragged on.
