I have new rear drums & shoes and new pads & rotors. Calipers are great and I have brand new front brake lines. the e-brake works great too.

My ABS & Parking brake lights are both on. What could cause this? Would it be the wire or wheel hub sensor? The wheel bearings don't have any play in them.

Oh, it's a 1994 V6 Camaro 3.4L

 

do u have a brake light out? who did it and when did the brake job happen? did the lights come on after the brake job or before?

 

The ABS & e-brake lights were on before the brake job, and are still on now.

 

says to check the ground on the ebrake switch. everything points to a leak or ebrake switch or ground. then says to push on the brake peddle hard. it says 450 psi. to reset the brake light. i dont have the abs section in my book. could be wheel sensor/s or wireing to them. other than that maybe someone has a suggestion. when i had a probem with the abs on my truck i took it to a dealer shop.

 

Thanks for the info on the e-brake issue. I bet the switch is stuck. I'll have to pull hard on it!

As for the ABS, I'll take my multimeter and see if there's current through the connector. This way I'll know if it's a wiring issue or not. I'll scan it too to see which wheel is throwing the code.

 

u press on the brake peddle not the ebrake

 

the ebrake switch is inside the center console... i think it is. i will look in the book and double check. see if i can find it anyways. the ebrake will turn the light on and faulty brakes will also turn the brake light on. if u were leaking brake fluid before the brake job or if they were unevenly worn it sets off the brake light.

 

I have all new pads, rotors, drums, and shoes as well as new front brake lines. I'll try the suggestion you gave me with pressing the brake pedal hard. I was also told the switch in the e-brake handle itself could be stuck?
