Brake Question
Hi, my name's Erin (yes, girl)
And I need some help!
My bf and I just ordered new ebc pads for his 94 LT1 and the back pads have a 'notch' on two of them , and two don't.. He never noticed this doing brakes before, and I wanna make sure they're right
Which is which?
would they even go into the wrong side?
and if they would, would that cause squeaking?
Thanks so much!
-Erin
(P.S.- my sn# isnt 94 cause his Camaro, 94 is my dads racing #)

Usually brake pads will only go on one way if they are not all the same. Watch how the old ones come off and put the new ones on the same way. If you have 2 different shaped pads in the box then pair them up so you have one of each for each side and match them to the ones that come off. If what comes off does not match what you have in the box, you got the wrong pads.
To help keep squeeking down use the brake grease on the backs of the pads, and dont forget to grease the pins as well.
