There are a few junkyards on ebay selling kits to swap over for a couple hundred bucks. Only place I currently know of.

I dont know exactly where the differences are in the brake systems. but if you get a rear from a v8 car all of the proper hangers should be there, and a set of calipers and rotors from a v8c ar should bolt right up

That is exactly what they are selling. Some people find it easier just to do swap the rear from a Z, but I have seen some folks that have just swapped to rear discs from a Z.

EDIT: Here is a walkthrough and a list of what will be needed.

spect needs to make a "how to" disk brake swap sticky. this gets asked every week. rear end swap is easy and cheap vs swaping drums for disks

Does the sticky address the combination valve? I was wondering cause I was thinking the proportioning valve would be different for caliper vs drums. Is that part of the anti-lock brake system?

Edit,,, I just searched thru the GM parts listandit only shows one part number for combination valve 93-97 (GM 18020589). So never mind

I don't think there is a difference in that from drum to disk.
