try getting your injectors cleaned and flow tested. could also be a bad injector seal/o-ring

But wouldn't that cause error codes for the injectors? I looked through a different thread that had all the obdii codes, but I'm not sure if those apply to all fourth gens or not.

If the plugs n wires don't fix it then I'm going for fuel injectors. I had it compression tested and that's all great, so at a bit of ease there.

pluged injector would show as a lean code or faulty 02. mine was showing rich and lean and bad 02. lol.

Could also be a cylinder down on pressure. You can do a compression test and as long as all cylinders are within about 10% of each other, they should be alright.

I went to a buddy's garage and did a compression check yesterday. All cylinders are good. I replaced the plugs, and reset the ecm. It was running great for about 100 miles. Then getting on the freeway, running about 4k rpm's the check gauges light came on, the 10 seconds later, the ses light came on, same codes as before. P01133 and P01153. The guy at autozone said he owned an early fourth gen and he had this problem, and he cleaned the maf sensor. Can anybody explain how this would cause the car to run rich/lean? I thought the maf measured the amount of air going into the motor.

A bad or dirty MAF sensor sure can mess things up, read the link below on how they work. Keep in mind that an oxygen sensor error code doesn't necessarily mean the oxy sensors are bad. If the MAF isn't operating correctly (dirty, broken, etc.), it can throw off the air/fuel mix, and things further down the line (like the oxy sensors) will try to compensate for it. But if the air/fuel mix can't be brought into specs, the oxy sensors will be reading a lean or rich condition that they can't correct for, and it'll trip an oxy sensor code. Go to the parts store and get a spray can of MAF cleaner, and clean it real well. Don't touch or poke it with anything, it's a fragile piece. Then clear the codes, and see what you get.

The MAF measures the amount of air going into the engine. The O2s react after the fuel & air is burned and tell the PCM if the result is rich or lean, but the MAF reacts before the fuel is burned. The PCM looks at both sensors and computes the fuel mixture.
You mentioned that the clutch was replaced recently. Was the vibration present before the cluch was replaced? An out of balance clutch/flywheel can do a good job of tickling your fancy.
