Default bought another camaro tonight.

well tonight i bought the car that is replaceing my 97 30th anniversary tonight. gonna pick it up tuesday morning before class. its a 98 super sport. has only 47,000 miles. its a 6 speed car as well. ill post picks when i get it home and cleaned up.

Is this the same car you posted about before? I can't recall the specifics, it may not have been you. The car was being sold buy a guy who said it had an "LT1" under the hood Yet the car had been garage kept and hadn't been ran in quite some time. I could probably go back and attempt to find the thread, but I think you were the o.p. on that one. The o.p. in that thread was asking about making sure it was an SS and looking for the SLP markings/badges/numbers etc.

That was guitar but he bought the ws6.

Congrats on the new car. And yes post pics fast. Lol.

that's easy, check for the WU8 RPO code on the door

lookin forward to the pics OP! i myself just picked up another bright red SS and i'll be posting pics up of it here's a big hint to what car it is . . . it was the GM High-Tech March 2008 article turbo 2001 SS

i was asking about what to look for in making sure this was a true ss car. but they advertised the car correctly as a ls1 car and it does have the wu8 code on the door.

looks damn good! i think i like the ZR1's like that better than the chrome ones. do you have 1 exhaust pipe coming out?? only 47k with red calipers and it looks lowered, you my friend got a deal! any other mods?

9500 i think it also has a hurst short throw in it. the only parts it needs fixed it the window seals that clip to the door on top. i call them fuzzies since they have felt on them. does anyone know where to get them?
