Borla Exhaust
probably the noobiest thing ever asked but ive been searching and cant find any info
ive been on the borla site and cant find mufflers/exhaust system (anything) for my car (93 z28)
also, with borla should i get just a muffler or a full system (money is tight unless a full system makes a HUGE difference and is worth it)
im more looking for sound quality here rather than flow quality
or if there is a wayyy better muffler let me know, i like what ive heard about the borla though because of the adjustability

Borla is overpriced and the "adjustable" feature is just stupid. Most people I know that run a Borla use the wide open plate all the time, so basically your expensive Borla muffler is not doing much for you, and how often are you really going to "adjust" the sound? SLP makes a good catback, though I think you need to buy extra parts to install one on a LT1.
i bought my 95 Z with a magnaflow cat back ( i think it is cheaper than borla, not sure) and it sounds awsome...id recommend this to anyone thats looking for a new exhaust, plus its suppose to give you like 13 more hp ( not sure if thats truel) but i love the sound of it .
Borla is great -- only cat-back with the built-in flanges for adjustable sound, forget the plates though and get a DMH e-valve, then you have a volume control for your exhaust from the cabin!
Don't run wide-open with no plate if you want to keep the low-end torque -- wide open would be more for upper-RPM power -- hence why an e-valve is such a great idea...
If there isn't an exact match for your year try the next closest newer year that is available, there may be some minor differences, but an exhaust shop can fab any variances for you.
