Does anyone know what the difference is with the cars that have black mirrors and black pillar behind doors, as oppossed to those with color matched mirrors and pillar???? I'm pretty sure I've seen both combinations on all makes (V6, Z28, SS etc...). Just curious of the difference. thanks.

 

well most of the z28s in 93-97 had black mirrors and a black roof from the factory,ive seen some people paint over it.im not sure when it changed but the 98-02 were all the same color regardless.

 

Model year 1996 and later had the option to get body color painted roof and mirrors, it was just an option, so that's the only difference. 1993-1995 you had the choice between black and black...
