body rust

Default body rust

i recently have become a camaro owner i just picked up my 95 z28 at a auction......it looked really clean so i bought it, today i was looking underneather and noticed holes in the rear floor like where the rear passengers feet would go... is this a common prob ?

Yes with T-top car that the T-tops leak. I saw a 94 go thur the auction the other day that had no flow behind the driver seat.

yeah its a t top......that must be the problem...... ill check when it rains again, ill need too try and find new t top seals. im glad i own a welder

the one drivers inner wheelwell looks shot too.....im so pissed !

If you don't mind me asking how much did you get it for? I assume this was a public auction? Or was it a dealer only Auction?

way too much lol....well vehicles are way cheaper in the us compared too the canadian market.....i payed 4k canadian + the taxes the body is mint (outside) inside is all clean 180kms.....it runs mint and is fast...auto with shift kit no other mods, i need too fix the floor soon and get it safetied, im kinda upset finding the rust but it wont cost me anything too fix because i have a welder and lots of sheetmetal i love the way the car drives and handles

You can buy the whole new floor from the back of the drivers seat all the way back to the drop off way in the back. You could do a nice seamless repair, but if you are on a budget patching for the next few years would be fine, If you decide to keep it the floor pannel will be waiting

i found the leak its from the rear wheelwells......the a$% that took it too the auction sprayed foam in there.and painted in black in the wheelswell so i he could run it through the auction ...i totally got ripped off on this car !!! im losing sleep over it i feel so stupid.......it needs rear wheelwells and floor pans under the rear seat and footwell
