Blinker Problems
I have a 95 Camaro, The blinkers quit blinking. The lights come on but don't blink. I have checked the fuses. I haven't checked the flasher fuse though. I don't know where it is located. I don't know if the flasher fuse is the the problem though because the hazards work. I'm comfused and don't know what to do?? Please help me.
i moved your post to its own thread, welcome to the forum. sounds like the flasher is failing. burnt out bulb will do that but only on the side the failing bulb is on. flasher is under the dash at the steering coluum. need to take a few scews out to remove the plastic cover. http://shbox.com/1/flashers.jpg

Is it all the flashers or just one side? When I got my '97 a few years ago, all the turn and parking sockets were brittle and corroded. The tail light lenses were like an aquarium. If you have an auto parts store that sells PICO auto electrical products you can find sockets that will work at a fair price. NAPA will rape you at $40 per socket.
Don't worry, I'm having a similar issue. Replace all the bulbs first. Then, if those are good, replace the turn signal flasher. If that doesn't work either, it's most likely a bad ground. You'll have to find which one, though, as there are too many to name. Once you isolate the bad ground, clean it (Even if you have to get to bare metal) and try again. Let us know how it goes!
My left side bulbs are all good, but sometimes they flash on and off, and sometimes they don't. The times when they don't flash, the left arrow indicator on the dash will stay on as if to say a bulb is bad. But if I click the arm up and down manually, the front and rear bulbs both come on. So like the bulbs are working, but the arrow stays lit, and doesn't flash sometimes. I'm wondering if its a bad flasher or a bad ground?
