It was some kind of discolouration behind the clear coat. No amount of buffing would work. Ended up getting a pro to repaint it. The panelbeater didn't seem to know for sure, although I didnt really care to much, just wanted it fixed!

i did, like the look without. i used it as a reason to get a good heat gun. hardest part is getting the glue off. heat and pull, dont get to hot or paint will not like it. still have some small pieces that are coming off a little at a time, each time i wash.

the car would look like one without ground effects mine were gone on the front of the car that year only came with ground effects on the corners the sides an back remain though ,I actually like ground effects an want to do my 95 when I paint it ,one just needs a low profile jack wich I am getting one ,those are only a pain for people that drive in snow an mud ,an they do ,I don't but most people I know would love to see a nice ground effects kit on my 95 ,key is getting the half kit wich does not go so far down to the ground like the 96 97 RS did ,an hits everything .so they learned when they went with the sport appearance package from 98-02 wich was an option, there only as low as the air dam is ,about 3 inchs the 96 97 RS was about 4.5 inches an fell below the air dam an why they most fall off in front, you can see in pic one only corners wich I want on my 95,other in a 97 RS much lower ,I think that why they only put them on the corners for the 98-02 couse the center would hit or rub ,mine will be $800.00 includeing paint beats the 1550 they cost from the factory
